We are Combat Carpet Clean, a Professional Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Company & business franchise looking to provide highly dynamic & exceptional cleaning services to communities all around the UK.
In a bid to achieve this mission, we look to recruit, support and mobilize fellow Armed Forces Veterans, Service leavers and motivated civilians alike to recognise their own exciting business potential to ‘Become their own boss & build their own Army’.
With an estimated 5 million veterans in the UK, and a further 20,000 personnel who leave the forces each year, we know the hunger to not only survive but thrive in the outside World and giving the carpet cleaning Industry holds a substantial share of the UK’s £6bn property cleaning sector, where better to start.
Founded and developed by two British Armed Forces Veterans, Andrew Dennis & Jay James, the two childhood best friends hailing for Pembrokeshire in South West Wales, have a combined service of over 3 decades within the Royal Navy.

Andrew Dennis
Founder & CEO of Combat Carpet Clean / Head of Combat Carpet Clean West Wales
Andrew is a former Lt Cdr within the Royal Navy and served 22 years, rising from the ranks of junior rate to Chief Petty Officer before being commissioned to Officer in 2016. With ‘A star’, glowing reports at every stage of his incredibly accomplished military career, Andrew’s leadership qualities and experience in having tangible and real effectiveness in dealing with high level, multiple operational campaigns around the World are without question far more impressive than the words we could write here.
Known as a talented all round sportsman and competitor, Andrew also represented the Royal Navy Rugby side, with several senior caps and tries, he also played at the famous Army V Navy Twickenham Interservices match in a number of successive years.
Andrew formed the very first Combat Carpet Clean branch in Pembrokeshire, South West Wales and within a month, made the realisation of the need to quickly expand his staff, to keep up with the demand and success of the business that was about to spark the idea to build the carpet army and provide others the same opportunities to earn fruitfully, with limitless potential and growth.
Jay James
Founder & CEO Combat Carpet Clean
As a former Warfare specialist, Jay served for 10 years within the Royal Navy and for many moments at the side of best friend Andrew, the pair who were often (and still are) in humorous competition were together for a period of 9 months on one of the most intensive and physically arduous courses within service, going on to pass out as the top 2 qualifies for the Royal Navy Physical Trainers Course at HMS Temeraire in 2004. During that time Jay, also known as a role model servicemen was applauded for his ‘exceptional interpersonal skills, A* reports and inspiring leadership qualities with
a notable Nomination for the Tony Betwritch Award for ‘outstanding contribution to the Royal Navy’. Now, in fact it’s the year’s proceeding his Military service where ‘Jay’ aka Jay James were to achieve rather unique success. Outside of Combat Carpet Clean, Jay is known as an experienced, versatile and compelling singer songwriter, broadcaster
& creative who has toured the UK times over performing to 100,000’s of people across the largest arena’s & venues in the Country, not to mention the millions Globally that tuned in through his heavily featured involvement in TV Show, The X Factor UK in 2014. Tipped as the public favourite and mentored by Simon Cowell who predicted he’d win, Jay has gone onto to wider success & acclaim as a member of No1 Multi-Platinum Selling Group The Overtones – The group have just celebrated their 10 year anniversary, 11 UK sellout tours and an Official UK Charts No1 Album. (Not bad!!)
For the last 14 years Jay has juggled Music whilst also carved a glowing career in Broadcasting, presenting the Flagship Music & Entertainment programme ‘The Big Show’ on BFBS Radio (Worldwide), all whilst running his own multiple successful businesses in their representative fields. His drive, ambition and experience matched by his best mate Andrew, together in partnership the boys look to inspire and support you to build your own business and reap the same financial rewards and life freedoms.
